Do schools need to provide CRT for ECTs to access the program?

No, organising and paying relief teacher costs is not required to access the gradCollective program. Since all our content is delivered online, you can access it anywhere, anytime. This flexibility significantly reduces the overall training cost for schools.
However, if schools wish to provide additional support to their Early Career Teachers (ECTs), they can offer release time or leaves of absence from after-school meetings. This would allow ECTs dedicated time to apply the learned content or participate in the live Q&A sessions and webinars.

Do you recommend 1:1 mentoring sessions?

The decision to add 1:1 mentoring really depends on the individual ECT's needs and the school's budget.
While 1:1 mentoring isn't included in all our packages, it offers undeniable advantages. It provides targeted feedback that can accelerate your growth and boost your confidence in the classroom. You can work with your mentor on specific focus areas, receiving valuable written feedback afterwards to solidify your learning.
Ultimately, the choice is yours. There are various program options to fit different needs and budgets. Discuss your options with your school to determine the best path for your success!
